How to import Thunderbird profile from newer to older version, thunderbird --allow-downgrade
After installing Linux Lite, I decided to import all my emails and contacts to Thunderbird.
After launching Thunderbird I received the following error message.
If you encounter this issue yourself, close down Thunderbird, open your terminal and enter the following command.
thunderbird --allow-downgrade
Ensure you have a back up of your existing email profile before running the command above.
