How do I reset the menu panels in Xubuntu, XFCE4

We have all experienced it, losing your menu panels in Xubuntu. Before you pull the power from your PC or Laptop you can attempt to reset / refresh the panels using the terminal.

Open a new terminal window by pressing CTRL + ALT + T then enter the following command below.

xfce4-panel -r


If that doesn't work, then enter the following command below to restart your distribution
sudo reboot
