Where are the desktop wallpapers located in Xubuntu. /usr/share/xfce4/backdrops

Desktop wallpapers on Xubuntu can be found in the following directory


Download your new wallpaper, then use the cp command to copy over wallpaper to the backdrops directory. You will need to enter your root password
sudo cp wallpaper.ext /usr/share/xfce4/backdrops

Go to desktop settings by right clicking on your desktop, and select your new wallpaper under the backgrounds tab
