Launch Firefox in Kiosk mode from the command line in Linux

Kiosk mode is available in Firefox. Kiosk mode provides the user with a full screen experience. It's removes all the toolbars and disables the right click functionality.

Kiosk mode would probably be used in a business setting with a touch screen monitor

To test out Kiosk mode in Firefox, enter the following command in the terminal

Firefox --Kiosk


To open a specific website in Kiosk mode using Firefox, enter the following command in the terminal
Firefox --kiosk https://www.mycomputertips.co.uk


To close the Kisok window, press ALT + F4
