How to access your site through CPanel without a domain name
CPanel is one of the easiest and most popular control panels for setting up accounts / websites on Linux Servers.
If you are designing a website but not yet purchased a domain name, and would like access to the website via your browser, and also FTP so you can upload and download files, you just need to find the IP Address of the server you are using.
To access the site via a Web Browser you would enter the following
http://ip_address/~account_name
To access the site via FTP using filezilla, enter the IP Address of the server followed by the account username and password.
