Xubuntu, Panel Preferences notification area greyed out
When I created a new panel in Xubuntu I noticed that when adding new items the notification area was greyed out. The reason for this is that you cannot run two notification area applets at the same time.
Once I had deleted the notification area from my old panel, I was able to add this to my new panel.
